Romantic: Romantic bridesmaid dresses could be either short or long. Think flowing materials and possible floral fabric detailing. Cap sleeves are a great choice, as are one-shoulder halter frocks. When one thinks romantic, colors such as pinks and reds may come to mind. Either color is fine for any time of year.

Traditional: Traditional bridesmaid dresses are for the most part longer in length. However, mid-shin is also popular. Think high neck cuts and simple designs. Sleeves can vary from long to cap to three-quarter inch. When one thinks of tradition, colors such as beige, burgundy and greens come to mind. Again, any time of year lends well to these colors.

Modern: Modern bridesmaid dresses are all over the map as far as style goes. For length, think floor length all the way up to above the knee. There are really no set rules, just go with the trends. Popular modern necklines include one-shoulder, off the shoulder or sleek and strapless. Modern colors bring thoughts of silvers, black, charcoals and chocolates. Muted is the way to go and will work no matter the season.

Hollywood Glam: Hollywood glam brides have very little boundaries. Any length will work just fine. These types of dresses are all about the bright colors and embellishment. The more bling the better the dress will be, so think beading galore. Strapless is also the way to go for a sexier look. When you think of Hollywood, colors such as hot pink and bright reds come to mind… maybe even black with th right accessories. Go bold or go home, no matter what time of year it is.
