Jovani Wedding Dress Designs

Designer Jovani isn’t one of the more traditional wedding dress designers. As a matter of fact, weddings aren’t their specialty at all. They’re known more for designer dresses for celebrity events, evening gowns, and prom dresses.

However, Jovani does have an interesting line of wedding dresses. Known as “Beach” wedding gowns, the styles aren’t at all reminiscent of traditional wedding dresses. Instead, most of them follow the style of formal evening dresses with an extra touch of glamour and, shall we say, sexiness?

Indeed, looking at some of Jovani’s styles, you know that these wedding dresses aren’t for the timid, although Jovani’s also has a beach wedding dress line for fuller figure women. Let’s talk about the original line first. These are made with the intention of being worn by shapely women. Most of the dresses are either A-line or mermaid styles. Many are V-neck dresses that show off a woman’s cleavage with lots of open back.

Truth be told, there’s so much variety in the dresses that it’s hard to capture with only a few words. If you want color, Jovani adds touches of color around the waist and lining of many dresses, and will sometimes have different colors for the bodice and the silhouette. Lace, embroidery, even split fronts and sides; definitely nothing regular about these wedding dresses.

The plus size Jovani line doesn’t have as much diversity, yet is flattering for any woman who wouldn’t look right in the sexier styles. These dresses cover up everything the other line lets show, and has fewer touches of color. Yet, they still have a lot of flow and femininity to them, all with natural waists so brides will be comfortable and still look stylish.

Jovani might not have the largest line of wedding dresses out there, but what there are will make brides stand out in wondrous ways.
